When you have no words
Pray God's own words back to Him. Hannah gives you the verses.
You were taught, probably without anyone meaning to, that real prayer has to be in your own words. The Bible never says that.
David wrote the Psalms, and God's people have prayed them for three thousand years. When the disciples asked how to pray, Jesus gave them the words. On the cross, He prayed a Psalm.
Hannah puts those words in your hands. Tell her your son starts a new job on Monday, and she gives you Joshua 1:9 to pray over him: "Be strong and courageous… the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
And a prayer for the hour you are in is ready, written from Scripture. You only have to read it, or listen.
